Read Write Web added to Blogroll

I find they write a lot about “Transformation Infrastructure”. They have a great article today titled “Reaching for the Sky through the Compute Clouds”.

One thing about Transformation Infrastructure is that nobody really cares when it doesn’t work perfectly. Case in point recent outages in Amazon Web Services and Blackberries,

But there was maybe some clue in Read Write Web’s article. They quote Albert Wenger:

We live in a stochastic world, but people fail to grasp it because all they experience is right now.

Stochastic from Dictionary.com:

of or pertaining to a process involving a randomly determined sequence of observations each of which is considered as a sample of one element from a probability distribution.

Hmmm. I think we grasp it.
