New Vancouver comic with social commentary

Noticed this in 24 Hours. New comic series “Outnumbered”. Check out their web site at www.criticalhitcomics.com. From the article:

“It’s not just cut and dried that the drug dealers in our story are the enemies – a lot of them are victims of socio-ecoomic factors. The dealers, the city and the system – they’re all flawed”

I applaud these guys for making this effort. Also, I tend to agree with their reasoning. Do we blame McDonalds for offering the food or the people who pay for it? Same with government – do we blame the people for not being interested in voting or the choice given them?

P.S. They will be at the Comix & Stories Convention August 27 at the Heritage Hall (3102 Main Street).
