Enough about Wikipedia already

Dave Winer seems to be on a rampage about the dangers of a single source of information. I think that Wikipedia’s  popularity is partyly due to the inept offerings of software developers in this space. I hope Wikipedia gets so big that it drives software development or starts developing software itself. Winer should get to work on the OPML editor or Share your OPML to give some options in the management of knowledge by the masses as opposed to them having to use Wikipedia.
